  This place is GREAT!! We hadn't made plans to stay in Barry's Bay but we ended up there. We stop at one place and they were booked but called over to the Pinewood Inn and got us a room. I wish I could remember the name of the owner but I do remember that she was so nice and helpful, really made us feel welcomed. The fact that 4 ladies showed up on loud bikes didn't bug her at all. The room was very nice and comfy. The view out the back, of the charts awesome. I will be staying here again.

  What a great place to stay. ..we were informed about all the best places to eat nearby and some good roads to travel with lots of curves for motorbiking. Behind the Inn was a beautiful view and Adirondack chairs to relax and watch the sunset. It was very clean and comfy inside as well.

  The owners are on site and very friendly. They try to keep a high standard for their hotel and are constantly upgrading their establishment. They offer bbqs in the back with a great view. Slowly but surely this motel will be the best in the Barrys Bay Region.

  I haven't even finished my stay here and wanted to write a review. Lovely setting by the lake, friendly staff and front door motel rooms with back doors to an open area of patio tables and chairs. It's well maintained with bird baths and feeders. More than an average motel for sure. And walkable to town.

  Room is very spacious with a front and rear entrance. View in the backyard is an added bonus.
